Sat/Sun 26/27 June                       Meet VH              Dusk to dawn hike. Meet at the Village Hall at 8pm. Usual hiking gear. Small bag with waterproofs and extra clothing. Drink and torch.

Wed 30 June                                   Meet VH              Windsurfing at Ardingly – Cost £12 – Subsidized by the Group

Bring wet suits if you have them. Full details to follow

Tue 6 July                                                                     District Explorer gathering at Hurst Green – Details to follow

Wed 7 July / 6.30 to finish?          VH                        Group AGM. Please wear full uniform. There may be a presentation!

On Saturday 14^th November, East Surrey  District hosted the latest County Chief Scouts Gold Award presentation. 48 Scouts and Explorers from all over Surrey came to Oxted School to meet Richard Shortman our County Commissioner and receive their certificate. The Gold Award is the highest award that a Scout can earn.

Nine youngsters from East Surrey were there.

The only addition to the Scout uniform is the Explorer shirt.

Our District Scout shop open every Sat from 10am-12am at Lagham Scout Headquaters, Lagham Road, South Godstone.
