After good drive down (The minibus didn't break this time!) the scouts have all arrived safely. They stopped off in Horsham to go bowling, and a good time was had by all. They finally got the scouts to bed at 1am with the girls going to sleep last and waking up first.

Lovely sunny morning, so intending to sail to Bembridge on the Isle of Wight.

With the weather forecast better than expected, the Scouts set sail for Bembridge. The sailing was brisk, with Force 5 winds, gusting Force 6.

Here they have been having fun in the dinghies with outboard motors. At present the Scouts are preparing their evening meal. After dinner a wide game is planned. Hopefully it will be an earlier night tonight.

With the wind today not as strong as yesterday,  the Scouts are looking forward to a sunny day of sailing back to their berths. One boat is based on the Hamble, the other in the marina at Gosport. Having returned to their moorings, the Scouts will meet up in the minibus, and Simon will give an estimated time of arrival.

2.00pm.

Both boats have now docked safely. One Scout has just been fished out of the water. At least they know that the life jackets work! At the present time they are clearing out the boats, getting ready to return home.

As yet the time of arrival home is not known.
